A territory, a family, a tradition of luxury.
The history of Tessitura Pertile is the story of a family, a region, and a precious heritage of artisanal techniques in crafting the finest fabrics. It is the story of Chieri, a land of silk cultivation and a textile tradition that began in the Middle Ages and evolved into the production of the highest quality thanks to the privileged relationship with the Royal House of Savoy, which commissioned fabrics for its residences from Chieri.
It was here that Marcello and Giuseppina Pertile created, in 1954, a company capable of promoting in our time a culture of luxury inseparable from ancient know-how and the qualitative and stylistic demands of increasingly global brands.
Over its nearly 70-year history, Tessitura has grown in this tradition, innovating with taste, creativity, and technical insights that make a difference in workmanship and production. Today, Myriam, Marisa, Giorgio, and Roberto Pertile, the founders' children, lead a solid company with an entrepreneurial vision geared toward international markets and the needs of prestigious furniture houses, renowned designers, and leading retailers.
