A territory, a family, a tradition in luxury.
The history of Tessitura Pertile is the story of a family, a territory and a precious heritage of craft techniques in the processing of the finest fabrics. It is the story of Chieri, a land of silk cultivation and a textile tradition that was born in the Middle Ages and evolved into a production of the highest excellence, thanks to the privileged relationship with the Royal House of Savoy, which commissioned to Chieri the fabrics for its residences.
It is here that Marcello and Giuseppina Pertile created, in 1954, a company capable of enhancing in our time a culture of luxury inseparable from an ancient know-how and the qualitative and stylistic needs of increasingly global brands.
In almost 70 years of history, weaving has grown in the wake of this tradition, innovating with taste, creativity and technical insights that can make a difference in processing and production. Today Giorgio and Roberto, Marisa and Myriam Pertile, sons of the founders, lead a solid company with an entrepreneurial vision oriented to the international dimension of the markets and to the needs of prestigious furniture maisons, great designers and leading distribution companies.
